Isaiah is very reserved when he's not around people he doesn't know very well. Once you've shown an interest in getting to know him, though, he is very friendly. He loves to learn, and he is more than willing to listen to just about anything you have to say. He keeps his secrets close to the vest, and he'll do the same with ones you choose to share with him. He's been involved with the drama club since his freshman year, and he has a multitude of other hobbies he enjoys, including music and computers.
Friends are sort of rare for him. That's not to say that he doesn't enjoy having friends, but it's not common that someone wants to get to know him on that sort of levels. For the friends he does have, he's very loyal to them. There are times where he doesn't talk much, but that isn't because he doesn't like you as much as someone else. Quiet doesn't make him uncomfortable, and he enjoys the company of others who appreciate just how refreshing quiet can be.
Enemies aren't very common for Isaiah, seeing as how he doesn't like conflict. However, there are people who just manage to push his buttons enough to end up on this list. Bullies, like Benjamin Turner, and cheaters quickly end up here. For those who are rude, it takes a little longer and a few more offenses, but it's also possible to make this category.
Lovers are an interest of his, but he's never had one. He wonders one day if he ever will. Only time will tell.

Welp, seeing as we're drama clubbin' it up, these two should be seeing a lot of each other. Despite Isaiah being close to Calliope, I don't think Silas would quite know what to make of him, since he's not the sort of open personality Callie is. So, while Silas probably likes him just fine, I don't think he'd have much cause to get to know him any better. That is, until Callie and Silas start a relationship, at which time I imagine Isaiah may play a more integral role in Silas' life.

They'll be seeing each other at CiCi's while the rest of the town grieves with the Turners for their loss. Being in the same year they probably have some classes together and know each other in passing at least. Acquaintances at the moment, but possibly more down the road as things unfold?

Eloise & Isaiah
I imagine that since Callie and Eloise are friends, Ellie would know Isaiah too. Like Isaiah, Ellie loves to learn - and I imagine she would like that about him. She also is joining the drama club, at Callie's insistence and so they would also know each other that way!

isaiah&calliope Duh <3 isaiah&silas Ooo that ought to be interesting.  isaiah&naomi I agree. Isaiah is going to be working on opening up a little more, and with Naomi being into the arts, he's sure to be interested in finding out more about her. isaiah&eloise Yay drama! A friend of Callie's is (usually) a friend of Isaiah's. Intelligent conversation goes a long way with him. |

isaiah & sam - Samson likes the quiet. Isaiah can appreciate silence, as well. I'm not saying these two should be fast friends right away, but possibly, two people that can respect the other without saying too much? Sam's EXTREMELY shy, so it might be hard for him to go out and actively try to hang out with Isaiah, but his personality might rub off on him. Plus, they'll both be at Cici's during the memorial, so, extra time to get know each other? y/y? |

I agree. Isaiah knows that what's on the outside doesn't necessarily reflect what's on the inside, so he's all about trying to get to know people for who they are and not what they look like. He doesn't find silence uncomfortable either, so even if he's talking, he wouldn't try to make Sam say anything. He'd definitely want to make Sam feel as comfortable and included as he could without overloading him, so he would probably take the initiative to see if Sam wanted to hang out with him and Calliope.

Isaiah may keep his secrets close to the chest, but Phoenix is particularly skilled at learning secrets. Since Isaiah is pretty smart, Phoenix probably often gets him to do his homework for him. Phoenix has never been the best student.
Or maybe he even gets Isaiah to tutor him on the side? He promises not to tell Isaiah's secrets so long as Isaiah tutors him and doesn't tell anyone "How stupid I am".

Isaiah would be more likely to tutor Phoenix and show him how to do his homework than to actually do it for him. But tutoring Phoenix in exchange for having his secrets kept just that is something he would definitely do.

Isaiah would likely be weary of Connor since he hung out with Ben. Unlike Ben, however, Connor holds no ill will for Isaiah and likely would have gotten onto Ben's case whenever he was around for the bullying and would have made Ben move on quicker.

Yeah, Isaiah would't be too thrilled to be around Connor. Though he wouldn't completely judge Connor for being friends with Ben, he holds a special envy of guys who are involved in sports, for his own personal reasons, so he wouldn't want to be around him for other reasons. But, hypothetically, if they were forced into a situation where they would have to be around one another, Isaiah would be quiet but cordial.

Since neither are exactly outgoing or have a lot of friends, I doubt that Ryan and Isaiah would be much more than acquaintances simply thru school and some common classes.
Sounds like they do have one thing in common though - a dislike for football players.
Isaiah would certainly be aware that a bunch of the football jocks have it in for Ryan and he does little to ease the ill will back with his accusations and smartass sarcastic comments.
Oh, and Ryan is joining the Drama club this school year, it looks good on a resume for college is his thinking.
