Flight 313 goes down into the Atlantic Ocean at 3:13 PM en route to Europe. 130 people on board, 80 people perish in the violent salt waters, leaving 50 survivors. The world never hears of it. The survivors manage to make it onto the beach. On the sand they discover each other, many hurt and injured, traumatized by the crash. One pilot, three flight attendants and a government official with broken handcuffs around his wrists are among the living. In between trying to survive everyday struggles and learning how to live with each other, the survivors soon realize that they are not alone. Another group of survivors from a similar plane crash two years ago inhabit the island on the opposite beach. They are xenophobic and distrustful of the newer group. Help will never come for any of them. They are in their own personal hell, selected to remain here on this island, each with their own personal demons.
