By the time news of the outbreak began to appear across the globe, it was too late. The pandemic spread like wildfire, turning the dead and dying into aggressive and resilient enemies to the living. Our story begins in Newton City, Massachusetts, a small city off the coast of Boston. Since October of 2012, survivors from many different places have come to Newton City, many passing through The Fairworth Hotel, which seems to have been stocked and fortified before being suddenly abandoned.
No matter their motivations, they all find themselves up against threats to their survival: horrid monsters, scarce resources, and perhaps the greatest danger of all: each other. This may or may not be the end of the world, but it's the end of the world they once knew.
