Connor Lucas Peters Eighteen/Senior/Football player/Field goal kicker extraordinaire
Connor is plenty friendly and usually tries to be nice and polite especially around strangers. He has played football since surprising the coach and himself with his kicking abilities his freshman year. He lost his mother to cancer when he was fifteen and has been at odds with his father and stepmother since he was sixteen. When he’s not practicing, he’s usually somewhere away from home like riding his bike through the park or jogging around town. Friends:Connor has few close friends but a good amount of friendly acquaintances he met while hanging out with different members of the football team. He is friendly to most people but likes to keep to himself and bottle everything up inside. Enemies:Though he tries not to get on anyone’s bad side, Connor has a few people he doesn’t get along with at all. Heck you might just hate him because he's a football player. Romantic Interests:Connor is somewhat oblivious to people’s affections and is usually too focused on football or his own personal issues to hook up with anyone at least for the long term. Relationships: Eloise & Connor Connor met Eloise in the hospital when he went with his mother to one of her chemo therapy appointments. They helped each other through tough times and she was there for him when his mother died. He considers her his best friend and would do anything for her. There is definitely romantic tension in their platonic relationship but they may not act on it. Callie & Connor Connor never really got to know Callie. The only thing he knew about her is that she didn't like Ben too much and he reciprocated the feelings. Connor is mostly neutral but has a slightly negative view of her. Sam & Connor Connor knows of Sam since he's seen him before. They have never spoken before but that's because of Connor's shyness and Sam's intimidating looks. Connor harbors no ill will against him and tries not to judge him by his looks. Mr. Lindstrom and Connor The only thing Connor knows about Mr. Lindstrom is that he isn't going to be taking his classes anytime in the foreseeable future Indy and Connor Connor doesn't like Indy based entirely on the principle that she supplies alcohol for the student parties. They have both insulted each other and come just short of screaming arguments. Schu and Connor They've seen each other in school, at the movie theater, and outside Ben's house. All they've shared is a shy wave and a glance. Phoenix and Connor Mutual hate is in full effect here. Connor hates drug dealers and he let Phoenix know it. Isaiah and Connor Connor would have tried to get Ben off of Isaiah's case whenever he was around to bully him. No hard feelings between the two but he wouldn't blame Isaiah for not wanting to be friends. Alex and Connor Alex and Connor have been friends since they both lived in Boston. While Alex was over-weight and bullied profusely, Connor defended her from her assailants. Since then, they both relocated to Ashwick around the same time, and are now high up on the high school hierarchy. They are still friends, and both had close relationships with Ben, giving each other a shoulder to lean on in the recent tragedy. His close relationship with Eloise also eased some of the tension between the two. |

Eloise & Connor
OK I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LONG.
Eloise had leukemia - Connor’s mother died from breast cancer. Eloise was in and out of the hospital since she was 13 until she was almost 15. What I’m thinking is that maybe Eloise and Connor’s mom were in a support group together - Ashwick is small, so maybe they didn’t have support groups for specific types of cancers/ages, and it was just one support group. Eloise would probably have been one of the first friends Connor made then when he moved to Ashwick? She wants to be friends with everyone, and would have made a special effort to be friendly with him - especially if maybe, Eloise and Connor’s mom had become friendly?
After his mom died, Eloise would totally have been there for him, and would have been so glad when he joined the football team - as she was a cheerleader and it was nice for them to be on the field together. Eloise was good friends with Ben, and she would have also asked Connor if he needed tutoring in anything. I picture Ellie and Connor being close, especially if he saw her in the hospital and she knew his mom. He would be one of the only people who saw her like that - in that setting. I don’t know if there would be anything romantic between them - I’ll leave that up to you. Eloise is a virgin, though she’s done everything else, and maybe the everything else was with Connor as she doesn’t really do relationships and you mentioned him not being in to long term stuff? Or maybe their relationship is just platonic. Totally up to you =]

I'm thinking platonic relationship because both of them were vulnerable at the time their relationship started. He would likely consider her his best friend since she was the first he made in Ashwick and was there for him a lot. Though they could still have some unrequited tension.

callie && connor
so like, these two don't really run in the same circles. Ben and Connor were on good terms, while Callie and Ben were basically at war with each other. That may or may not effect Connor's view of her, but I'll leave that up to you. Callie wouldn't resent him in the slightest (not her style), but I don't see them getting close. With everything that's about to happen, I could see them on speaking terms, but the vibe I'm getting is completely cordial at best. This may or may not change, depending on what happens in the story. I'm good with platonic/tension =] We can always just see where they go. I think that Eloise would probably really depend on him, because he knew her through the worst part of her life - and they still ended up being friends. She would like to be his best friend =] and will help him with homework now that Ben is gone if he wants her too.

sam & connor - Like Calliope's player said, Samson and Connor aren't exactly from the same crowd, hell, he might think he's a bit freaky from just looking at him. He does remember Ben being a little bit more tolerant of him, so that might be the case with Connor. Plus, he likes horror movies. Samson is a budding horror writer in the making. They might learn to be okay with each other in the future, yes/no?

It's likely they barely know each other, even though Silas thought so highly of Ben. Connor just doesn't visit the Drama club scene, and I'm not certain how likely it is for Connor to have taken Psychology, since it's an elective and not necessarily an "easy grade" sort of class.

Yeah I say at most they bumped into each other in the halls. Connor would probably know Silas as a teacher for a hard class he isn't going to take and Silas would probably know Connor as just one of the members of the football team that hung out with Ben between classes.

Atticus and Connor //
Okay, I like where this is going. Their main link to one another is quite obviously Ben and Eloise. With Atticus’s fairly obvious budding affections towards Eloise, I can see some animosity blooming between these two in the near future, and Atticus experiencing some feelings that he’s never had to deal with before, like jealousy. Atticus is very much the beta male kind of type that would not actively seek out confrontation with Connor, but he certainly would not be his politely genial self towards him.

Yeah I see them knowing each other from Ellie, since she likely introduced them. They probably haven't shared many words though. Atticus may be intimidated by Connor causing him to shy away from Ellie when he's around or give him an excuse to leave until Connor is gone. Connor might find Atticus a little weird and not trust him hanging out with Ellie. The tension between them may come to a head leading to an argument at the very least.

Though given Connor's friendly nature, they wouldn't probably have ever had any run-ins, Ryan still wouldn't much like Connor just on principle. After all Connor is a football player and Ryan is hated by a good number of the football team and detests them right back.
Avoidance would be Ryan's reaction to Connor I'm thinking.
Oh, and Connor would also know that Ben and Ryan didn't like each other for more than just this football issue but there was a rather grim rivalry over scholastics too. Ryan has more than once openly declared that the football players cheat to get their grades, again not winning him any friends amongst the jocks.

Connor would definitely dislike being called a cheater since his grades are way less than stellar. He wouldn't be outright hostile to Ryan but he wouldn't like him very much and would be at least a little rude if they conversed.
