Hearthwood Academy is a boarding school located deep within the Northern Californian mountains, secluded from civilization. The school was created in the early 1900's by Vera Eckley as a safe haven for the "supernatural". All types of students attend Hearthwood, including (but not limited to) witches, vampires, werewolves, mermaids and kitsunes.
