alexandra grace walker seventeen ♥ senior ♥ caring ♥ determined ♥ talented ♥ intelligent ♥ curious ♥ cultured ♥ hard-working
♥Alex♥ On the surface, she is the epitome of the Queen Bee stereotype - sweet, charismatic, and intelligent. Alex is kind to all of those around you, excluding the minute few that earned her disdain. Her intelligent aura and charismatic nature often lands her in the good graces of her peers, amplified by her affable nature. This led Alex to quickly climb the social ladder when she first moved to Ashwick. Alex likes to see herself as consistent, cultured, and committed. She wants to try a little bit of everything in the world, causing her to appreciate classical entertainment on various levels.
♥ friends are the bread and butter of Alex's life - her livelihood. If Alex calls you a friend, know that you have a girl that is willing to push all the way through 'til the end for you. After living such a long time without many companions, Alex realizes how easily once can slip into darkness without the light of bonds. There is nothing she won't do to make sure the people she is closest to are secure
♥ enemies are not common place in Alex's life. The only people that Alex truly does not get along with are those that bully and those who allow themselves to shrivel with no purpose. Lately, the number has been steadily increasing. Anyone she hears speaking unreasonably ill of her late boyfriend takes a special place on her list of enemies.
♥ lovers is not a subject that is even breaching Alex's mind right now. With the recent death of her long term boyfriend, Alex is steering clear of the dating scene. Her responsibilities - combined with her sorrow - are straining her time.
♥ current relations -
♥ Eloise & Alex : While both girls are friendly toward the other girl, there is some underlying tension. Ellie and Ben were best friends and Alex was his cautious girlfriend. He backed away to appease her, creating a quiet tension between the two ladies. ♥ Calliope & Alex : Friendly rivals of a sorts. They compete in track but have a good time doing it. There was a slight hindrance in the relationship: Ben. Calliope didn't like Ben, and while Alex doesn't mind that, it still naturally caused slight tension. ♥ Alex & Sam : Strangers or acquaintances. While they never really became friends, they aren't enemies. She has no problem with him, and as far as she is aware, the reverse is true. ♥ Isaiah & Alex : She doesn't have a problem with him, but they don't talk. She realizes her boyfriend was cruel to him, and would have scolded Ben if she ever caught him in the act. It's easy to assume that because of this, Ben never bullied Isaiah in front of Alex, hence why Isaiah does not like her by association. ♥ Naomi & Alex : Naomi and Alex have somewhat of a friendly business relationship. Whenever Alex needs something artsy done for the Student Council, she immediately looks for Naomi. They aren't necessarily friends, but they get along well enough, and hey, they both benefit from Naomi's artistic talents. ♥ Alex & Mr. Lindstrom : While there is a mutual student - teacher respect, their spheres of interest do not intersect. ♥ Alex & Atticus : Not exactly friends, but Alex has no problem with him. She has no idea of the "pedestal" she is put on, but nonetheless she is amiable in interactions with him. ♥ Alex & Connor : Alex and Connor have been friends since they both lived in Boston. While Alex was over-weight and bullied profusely, Connor defended her from her assailants. Since then, they both relocated to Ashwick around the same time, and are now high up on the high school hierarchy. They are still friends, and both had close relationships with Ben, giving each other a shoulder to lean on in the recent tragedy. His close relationship with Eloise also eased some of the tension between the two. [/blockquote]

Eloise & Alex
Ok, so I have been in struggleville trying to figure out how they might feel about each other. So here is what I've been thinking about - Ellie and Alex are very similar, and I think that they would be friends. Like Alex, Ellie is on student council and she also likes to try new things. Perhaps, when Alex moved to Ashwick she and Ellie became fast friends - like Alex, Ellis is popular and outgoing. She's a head cheerleader hopeful, on yearbook and all that stuff. Ellie has also been friends with Ben for awhile, the pair even lived close to each other and Ben's dad was one of Ellie's doctors when she was being treat for leukemia. I think that maybe the two of them were best friends, and when Alex started dating Ben, they grew apart as time continued on. Especially considering that Ellie and Ben were close, and maybe Alex did not approve of Ellie and Ben's relationship?
Sorry that was a rambling jumble - so I guess is short, former best friends pulled apart when Alex and Ben's relationship got more serious?

Eloise & Alex
I totally understand! I was struggling with the ideas too. On one hand they're pretty similar girls, so they could easily be friends. On the other hand, I think most girls get at least a little on edge when it comes to their men and their lady bestie, especially when the other girl is similar. I think a combination of the ideas would be best. Alex would probably have said something like "Well, I don't mind you being friends with her at all. Just watch yourself, okay?" so while she wouldn't directly be trying to push them apart, he could have pulled away a little just to appease her. So kinda like.. they're friendly and amiable, but they don't really have any connections, and maybe even a little friendly rivalry over Ben's attention (girl friend vs girlfriend)?
Either way, I'd see them being at least friendly. Plus, with Ben's death, I could see the two finding comfort in each other, considering they were two of the most important girls in his life.

Eloise & Alex
I can definitely see them leaning on each other - as they knew Ben better than most others. They're on student council together too. I definitely think there would be a little rivalry too - Ellie would understand Ben pulling away but she would still be hurt. So, the girls are friendly, and get along well but there is still that underlying tension?

callie && alex
So yeah we wanted these two to be friendly rivals that sort of challenged each other at track and pushed each other to be the best they could be. Alex has a bit of a sweet disposition to her that Callie would be attracted to, but the only thing I worry about is relationship strain since Callie and Ben didn't get along so much. Maybe his death will give them the chance to be the friends they couldn't really be before. They're probably on friendly terms right now, but hopefully we can give it more depth as they sink into this harrowing adventure.

Callie & Alex
Yeah, I see them as being friendly rivals. Kind of like school friends. They talk when they see each other, but they don't go around town together. She wouldn't hold it against Callie for hating Ben - a lot of people did. As long as she didn't go to Alex and bad mouth her boyfriend unnecessarily, Callie would be a-okay in her book. I agree, now that there is no hindering force(aka Ben) they might be able to become pretty good friends!

isaiah&alex
Isaiah didn't get along well with Ben, so, by association, he wouldn't really care for Alex either. The Queen Bee stereotype wouldn't help that either. He would respect her intelligence, but he would try to avoid having to be around her, not even necessarily because of anything she's done but because of who she is.

Isaiah & Alex
Alex would have understood his hatred for her boyfriend. He could be quite the douche! If she EVER saw Ben bullying Isaiah, she would have scolded Ben in an instant because she hates bullying. Ben probably only harassed Isaiah behind her back, hence why Isaiah dislikes her by association. Either way, Alex would be respectful and friendly to Isaiah should she have to interact with him.

alex & sam - I wouldn't say that he might be afraid of her, but he does know where his 'rank' is, as far as high school politics go. He might've taken a few classes with her, but even then, he would've avoided her, as to not incur the wrath of anyone who thinks he doesn't know his place. Plus, he's the weird kid that wears black and mumbles about his favorite hobbies when he's not actively avoiding people.
The one thing they do have in common is Ben. While it was fleeting, Ben did treat him with a modicum of respect, especially after hearing about his memory and family problems.
I guess these two could be considered strangers or acquaintances? I doubt she'd have time for him, as you've said, 'Alex does not get people who let themselves shrivel with no purpose', and on the surface, he looks like one of those losers who do.

Alex & Sam
While he might look like someone without a purpose, Alex would do her best to reserve her judgments until she actually knew if he was like that or not. Of course, she's not perfect, so she would probably be a little hesitant. She has no problem with the dark, outcasty look. Alex was an outcast just a few years ago, she understands the pains it can bring.
Like you said, they'd probably just be friendly strangers/acquaintances.

Perhaps Naomi worked with her in the past on some school project, like planning a mural or decorations for homecoming? Socially Naomi tries not to judge, but Alex seems like one of those super achiever type A people, and Naomi is anything but. They probably wouldn't be friends, but acquaintances.

Alex & Naomi
Mhm, for some reason I see them not quite being friends, but Alex seeing Naomi as the go-to girl for art projects the Student Council put together. So, not quite friends, but I feel like they'd have a mutually beneficial relationship. Naomi gets a chance to display her art while Alex has an artist to fall onto?
